In 1906, "Capellana de Pambuhan" was erected by the parish of Caramoan and Fr. Pablo Rebaya was installed as the first resident priest; proof of this are baptismal records of locals born before 1906 can still be found in Caramoan.

1908--Establishment of the very first government-owned school where Tito Delloro as the 1st Public School Teacher;

1917--"Pigbanua" was once again an official part of Caramoan as a barrio, and the Municipal Council's Resolution changed the name Pigbanua to "San Miguel" after Caramoan's patron saint, San Miguel de Arcangel;

1918--Rep. Jose Fuentebella's sponsorship bill in congress declaring the area be called "Pambuhan", was vetoed by Governor-General Wood.
