WONDERFUL WATERFALLS

Garchitorena is endowed with amazing and wonderful waterfalls.

There are at least 5 visited and documented waterfalls in the municipality: Gabao, Hasugon, Nahulugang Pasyo, Culapnit and Bahaw Falls. 

Below is the Gabao falls located in the uphill of Barangay San Vicente.

Hasugon falls lies within the boundary of Garchitorena and Presentacion. But geographically situated inside Garchitorena's jurisdiction. With an average of 15-minute walk from a barangay road of Toytoy, Garchitorena leading to Lidong, Presentacion, this alluring and serene waterfalls is a real spit of nature's grand creation. The place is well-suited for picnics and adventure for groups of friends, family, etc. The place has a a telecommunication coverage where you can post on your social media accounts latest happenings in your adventure such as "ATM's", selfies, groufies, etc.

Ason and Bahi will not be left behind as they boast another infamous waterfalls towering at more-or-less 15 meters in height. It has already been featured in some local travel and leisure television shows in Bicol in ABS-CBN Naga's Mag-TV Na, Uragon. It was also frequently visited by more than a hundred groups from in and outside the region.


Up the farthest barangay of Garchitorena which is Barangay Salvacion lies the extraordinary Culapnit Falls. It has a rock-surrounded basin-like pool where you can swim but cannot dive. The water is so pure, sweet and so cool. Its name was derived from the specie of a fruit-eating bat native to the area--culapnit.
